In The Beginning
I’ve spent the last few days feeling rough. Fuzzy head, rundown and a sore throat. Hopefully, some good sleep will help. I haven’t smoked in over 14 years and haven’t vaped for nearly a year, but my throat feels like I’ve had a night out with 40 B&H!
How have you all been?
In some Custard updates, I got one post detailing my love of puddings.
Comic News
From PaperCutz, the excellent School For Extraterrestrial Girls continues, with volume 2 coming soon.
Coming this Halloween is a new graphic novel from Mad Cave Studios, containing some excellent-looking folklore. Have a look at Whisper of the Woods.
Archie Comics has some new horror coming this summer with a new one-shot story. Look out for Chilling Adventures Presents… Strange Science.
Round-Up
I’ve continued my run on detailing those who submitted work to Tales From The Quarantine. It appears that the physical copy is still not out there, and it has been some time, so what will happen first? Will I get through my spreadsheet of creators, or will people receive their physical copies first?
Crowdfunding
I’ve mentioned it before, but now the collected Plainer Jane is coming to Kickstarter from Broken Face Comics.
Plus, there is a teaser video to check out.
Spotlight
I had the chance to ask Jennie Wood 10 questions about digital comics this last week. Paper Planes from Maverick is coming soon and is well worth checking out.
