In The Beginning
Well, the hot weather is here. Fans are on, and the pool is out. Of course, I’m still working, so the rest of the family gets a chance to play with it all.
I’m a few days away from my allergy clinic appointment, so it will be interesting to see how I react and what I need to do to avoid bananas!

Scout Comics, Mad Cave Studios, and Archie Comics have all announced new titles upcoming. Including some horror, some new collections and even a celebrity writer.
From Rebellion and the Treasury Of British Comics, there are some new collections, including some classic adventures and some more up-to-date.
In the chess world, a new manga comes from Ablaze Publishing, featuring chess star Garry Kasparov.
GlobalComix has some good news, with enrollments increasing. Perhaps it’s down to another digital comics provider messing up, but nevertheless, they keep adding some excellent comics and publishers so that the users will increase!
Microcosm Publishing has released a controversial and interesting new title - The Black Man's Guide to Getting Pulled Over. this satirical look at race is sure to rile some people, but I think it is a story that needs to be told.
The second issue of The Brandenburg School For Boys is out now from digital comics publisher Panel Syndicate.
Round-Up
There has been an announcement that Mark Waid is returning to evil; Irredeemable looks due to return in 2023.
I don’t know how I feel about this. This series put Boom Studios on the map, and the main series and its spinoffs worked really well. The ending was perfect and seemed to wrap things up in a good way.
That said, curiosity and my enjoyment of the original series will probably see me picking it up. What are your thoughts?
