The webcomic series Bite Sized Archie from Archie Comics has hit a big milestone!
The social media sensation BITE SIZED ARCHIE hits its 200th episode today, marking four years of the hilariously irreverent and wildly imaginative webcomic series from Archie Comics by writer Ron Cacace and artist Vincent Lovallo. The online strip, with new episodes releasing every Thursday on
TinyView, reaches over 2M enthusiastic readers.
"It's so unreal that we've reached 200 strips of BITE SIZED ARCHIE," said Lovallo, who also serves as Archie's art director. "Ron and I have been working on this webcomic consistently for almost four years now and have never missed a week. In some ways, it's been so automatic, like a routine or habit, so getting here happened before I even knew it!"
"I can't thank the team at Archie enough for letting me get away with basically whatever I want," said Cacace, "and for the Archie fans who allow us to present another different take on the Riverdale gang."
Launched in late 2020 by Lovallo and Cacace, who at the time was Archie's director of publicity and social media, the strip brought Archie stories into the digital age with relatable, up-to-the-minute references to memes, viral tweets, YouTube crazes, and terminally online culture, while keeping the charm and core traits of Archie's world-renowned characters at the forefront. Over the past 200 episodes, the duo has peppered their four-panel gags with new zany characters, widening the scope into a sprawling "Bite Sized Universe" all its own, including fan-favorites Spider and Scam Likely, who has gone on to
appear in Archie's mainline printed comics.
Reflecting on the strip's early days, Lovallo said, "It's amazing to see how far both Ron and I have come in terms of dialogue and art. I'm forever grateful for the hard work and dedication Ron has. He's as funny and witty in real life as he is on paper, and to be that brilliant on this series without missing a beat is so admirable. I couldn't ask for a better friend and co-creator to be on this journey with!"
"None of BITE SIZED ARCHIE would be possible without the relentless dedication of artist and co-creator Vincent Lovallo, who goes above and beyond what's expected for a weekly social media comic," Cacace added. "When I look back at where it began and how much we've all learned and changed throughout the course of this comic's run, I'm astonished. Writing BITE SIZED ARCHIE and collaborating with Vincent has become the one constant in my life, the one thing I know is going to deliver a spark of joy and creativity and inspiration every week."
The webcomic has been collected in two print volumes to date, available everywhere books are sold and from Archie directly, along with a new collection of BITE SIZED ARCHIE-inspired tee-shirts, mugs, and limited-edition prints. The 200th episode of BITE SIZED ARCHIE, entitled "A Major Milestone," is online now at TinyView and Archie's social media channels.
Classic '80s horror comic Scream! sold out before publication day back in May, but now there is the news from Rebellion that it will be returning to print for Christmas.
Celebrating 40 years since IPC launched the UK’s most iconic ‘horror’ anthology, this wonderfully horrifying single volume collects all of the strips included in the 15-issue run of Scream!.

All copies of the hardcover collection sold out before it was due to hit shelves in May this year, but thanks to overwhelming popular demand a reprint is now its way and will arrive in the
2000 AD and
Treasury of British Comics webshops and all good retailers in late November.
Produced ‘from the depths’ of King’s Reach Tower by the mysterious ‘undead’ editor Ghastly McNasty, the first issue of Scream! was unleashed in March 1984. More tongue-in-cheek than horrific, the comic was an immediate hit with younger fans as it included a pair of fake vampire fangs attached to the cover and a number of fantastic new strips from such legendary talents as Alan Moore, John Wagner, Jose Ortiz, Cam Kennedy, Tom Tully, Alan Grant and Eric Bradbury.
The celebratory hardcover collection of the entire original run includes every single strip published in issues 1-15, making this an absolute must-have for fans of classic horror and thriller comics. The original print run sold out before its publication date in May and fans have been eagerly hoping for a reprint.
Rebellion’s senior graphic novels editor Keith Richardson said: “Scream! was such an iconic and beloved title, so it was gratifying to see just how many people remember it and wanted to revisit its incredible stories. We’ve had so many requests to reprint the hardcover edition and I’m delighted that bring such a sumptuous collection to even more people.”
The stories included in this collection:
'The Dracula File' – writers: Gerry-Finley Day, Simon Furman, artist: Eric Bradbury
'Fiends and Neighbours' – artist: Graham Allen
'Tales From the Grave' – writers: Tom Tully, Ian Rimmer, Scott Goodall, artist: Jim Watson
'Library of Death' – writers: Barrie Tomlinson, James Nicholas, Angus Allan, artists: Cam Kennedy, Ron Smith, John Cooper, Brendan McCarthy, Mike Dorey, Steve Dillon
'Monster' – writers: Alan Moore, John Wagner, artists: Henzil, Jesus Redondo
'The Nightcomers' – writer: Tom Tully, artist: John Richardson
'Terror of the Cats' – writer: Simon Furman, artists: Gonzalez, John Richardson
'The Thirteenth Floor' – writers: John Wagner, Alan Grant, artist: Jose Ortiz
'A Ghastly Tale' – artists: Mike Western, Mike Dorey, Jose Casanovas Sr
Mad Cave Studios drops the latest series in Mark London’s Underworld with Exit City.
Mad Cave Studios is excited to treat fans to a first-look at EXIT CITY… the city of the future!
Featuring interiors by the late artist Karl Mostert (I Am Batman), with Cover A by Karl Mostert with colors by David Baron (Batman); Cover B by Shane Connery Volk (Nottingham, Prairie Gods), and letters by David Sharpe. This third and thrilling title of Mark London’s Underworld interwoven universe invites readers to explore the culmination of a passion for storytelling and the darker side of humanity in this all-new crime series.

In Exit City, there's a thin line between good and evil, and Detectives McCormick and Miller are about to find out the hard way. When they come to the scene of a brutal accident, it becomes clear that the Major Crimes division was called in for a reason. With minimal evidence, McCormick and Miller must work together through a web of seedy criminals, genetic experiments, and a crooked government. But that's not the only thing standing in their way, McCormick is hiding a secret that would make anyone question his capabilities.
“Writing Exit City was such a wild ride because it allowed me to explore the intricate complexities of human nature and morality,” said series creator and writer Mark London. “Delving into the lives of Detectives McCormick and Miller, I was able to create characters that are deeply flawed yet relatable, each grappling with their own secrets and inner demons. The setting of a gritty, crime-ridden city provided a rich backdrop for tension and conflict, enabling me to weave together a narrative filled with unexpected twists and turns. It was thrilling to craft a plot that kept readers on the edge of their seats while also challenging them to ponder the gray areas between good and evil. Themes of betrayal and loyalty are also on display and they resonated with me on a personal level, allowing for a deeper exploration of trust and the choices we make under pressure. Writing about McCormick's hidden secret added an extra layer of complexity, making the story not just a crime thriller, but also a psychological journey. Ultimately, Exit City was a labor of love. I truly hope readers find as much enjoyment in unraveling the mysteries within its pages as I did in writing them.”
"Working on Exit City has been a thrilling experience, blending the sharp storytelling of Mark London with the vibrant colors of David Baron,” said Karl Mostert, prior to his passing. “The collaboration with the team at Mad Cave Studios has been both energizing and rewarding, pushing the boundaries of creativity and storytelling. It's an honor to be part of such a dynamic project that challenges and excites with every page."
“Exit City has been an incredible journey—each page pulling us into the mystery that is Exit City,” said colorist David Baron. “Collaborating with such a talented team at Mad Cave Studios to bring Mark London and Karl Mostert's vision to life has been both inspiring and fulfilling. I hope readers find as much excitement and depth in these pages as I have in coloring them.”
Mark London’s Underworld also includes Revolution 9 (out now) and Hour of the Wolf (Oct. 23). Each miniseries set within can be savored as a standalone serial, while serving as a stepping stone towards Endless Night coming in 2025!
Exit City #1 hits shops Nov. 6th and is currently available for preorder.
