Emmy-Winning Creator Team Deliver Delicious New Children's OGN: Aw, Nuts!: The Crumbelievable Adventures of Peanut & Jelly.
From Papercutz is a new OGN and part of their latest range of children’s graphic novels. Aw, Nuts!: The Crumbelievable Adventures of Peanut & Jelly is out in July 2025.
Get your just desserts with this pun-tastic buddy comedy, featuring Peanut and Jelly!
Every morsel falls into place within the Foodtopia Pyramid. Well-peeled fancy folks reign from the toppings, average doughs make up the filling, and at the bottom, the odd-foods-out form the crumbs.
This is where we find Peanut and Jelly. They may be lowly employees at the Crumb Dump for now, but these ride-or-fries are determined to rise to the coveted upper crust. But when they accidentally unleash a Crumb Feeder into the city, their plans look shakier than an uneven souffle!
This tale has steaks, artichoke heart, and is ripe with comedy!
“What started as a collection of my terrible food character doodles, slowly grew into a story of best food dudes trying to climb the Foodtopia social hierarchy,” said creator Max Beaudry. “And with David Perry I found the perfect partner to bring this wacky idea to life. We jammed together just like Peanut and Jelly! Papercutz has been a crumbelievable partner, fully supporting this slapsticky book from the beginning. It’s truly a team effort and this food dude is grateful to all the magnificent morsels that helped make it happen!”
"Max had told me about this fever dream he had, where he was living in some kind of 'food world' with a peanut and a blob of jelly, and despite my best efforts to assure him that it wasn't any kind of prophecy, he kept sending me photographs of these very crude scrawlings he'd carved in the block walls of his basement. I couldn't salvage his sanity, but I could at least make the carvings a bit prettier and, well, now we have a publishing deal with Papercutz. I guess the proof really is in the pudding," said David Perry.
We hope you’ll join us in announcing this crumbelievable new comic! The book is available for preorder now wherever books are sold, including Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and Bookshop.

Label 619. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both companies as they bring innovative and visually stunning stories to life.
Label 619, known for its unique blend of manga-inspired character designs and pulpy, urban tales in a variety of genres, has captivated audiences with titles such as Guillaume Singelin’s Éco-Fauve Raja Award-winning Frontier, Carbon & Silicon as well as Shangri-La by Mathieu Bablet.
Magnetic Press, celebrated for its high production value and international focus on talent, is excited to work with
Label 619 to expand its library of compelling narratives and showcase even more of the label’s captivating work.
"We are incredibly excited to partner with Label 619," said Mike Kennedy, Founder of Magnetic Press. "Their exceptional artistry and storytelling align perfectly with our mission to create thoughtful and inventive stories with a distinct and unique visual style. We’ve been proud to bring several of their books to the English-reading audience to date, and this partnership will allow us to bring even more of their groundbreaking projects to shelves, captivating readers around the world."
Founder of Label 619, Guillaume “Run” Renard, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration: "Joining forces with Magnetic Press is a fantastic opportunity for us to reach new audiences and push the boundaries of graphic storytelling. We look forward to creating unforgettable experiences together."
Label 619 has been producing original graphic novels since 2008 with a focus and dedication to pulp and pop culture, from gritty high fantasy and science fiction to contemporary urban drama and horror. The name of the label refers to the area code of San Diego, an iconic place for comics in the US. They have produced over 60 titles, series, and spinoffs since their inception, and their catalog includes vinyl figures, music, and other related merchandise in their portfolio. They are currently managed by Rue de Sevres, one of the leading graphic novel publishing houses in France.
The first project under this partnership will be a complete collection of the label’s seminal release, MFKZ. This title originated as an award-winning animated short created by Run in 2003 before growing into a 5-volume, 440-page tale of dystopian Los Angeles (renamed “Dark Meat City”) and a massive conspiracy involving an alien invasion, masked wrestlers, and street gangs. The popularity of the series and animated short led to the 2018 feature-length animated film MFKZ co-produced by celebrated Japanese production house Studio 4c (currently available on Amazon and YouTube). More details about this new collection will be revealed in the coming months.
