ComiXology is now fully integrated with Amazon, and there have been a lot of comments on the changes to the ComiXology apps, buying of digital comics and the reading experience on the apps and on the web.
A lot of the comments have been negative.
From people struggling to sort out their library, to the loss of subscriptions and the clunky reading experience.
ComiXology must have had a lot of feedback and it seems that they are making some changes.
At least they have noticed that there are some issues.
This one confused me. ComiXology already had a good guided view system in place. Many of us can’t understand why this has been so difficult.
The ComiXology/Kindle crossover has been difficult for some too - especially for those of us who historically used both.
There are other small fixes too, with changes to filters and bugs when searching for new titles.
Hopefully, we will get there, but I would be interested to hear other thoughts on what can be done.
The issues with the ComiXology/Amazon apps and reading have allowed others to steal from the market leader with Marvel and DC with their own Unlimited/Infinity apps and the likes of GlobalComix building on their portfolio and an app (hopefully) coming soon.
