“If life is meaningless no matter where you are...” Rita, a lonely boy, is chosen as the “Dragon’s Bride” by the village custom. The ancient legend of the “Snowy Mountain Dragon” is now nothing more than a legend, but Rita, unable to find his role in the village, accepts the sacrifice while realizing that it is to reduce the number of mouths to feed. Rita, who was left alone and freezing in the snowstorm, is saved by Ignat, a beautiful dragon in human form. Rita’s eyes sparkle because the dragon really exists, and he can fulfill his role as a “bride”, but Ignat rejects him, saying “I no longer need a bride.” Still, Rita cannot give up, and he learns the secret of the ritual to turn humans into “dragons.” A silent dragon x a fearless sacrifice. A fantasy BL story of a non-human marriage that will heal your frozen heart!
The Rocketeer: Infiltrator! Presents the Hero’s Most Dangerous Mission Yet
It’s always great to see more of this hero - and IDW Publishing has announced a new adventure in The Rocketeer: Infiltrator.
Everyone’s favorite Flying Man is going undercover.
Soaring into comic shops on July 8 is THE ROCKETEER: INFILTRATOR! from acclaimed creators Gabriel Hardman (Batman/Green Arrow/The Question: Arcadia) and Dean Kotz (The Savage Sword of Conan). During the height of World War II, Allied planes mysteriously explode midair and rumors spread of a Nazi superweapon. Cliff Secord, aka The Rocketeer, and actress Betty Paige will go undercover in an exciting espionage tale that will leave fans of Dave Stevens’ beloved franchise captivated.

“I’m thrilled to have this chance to contribute to the legacy of Dave Stevens’ The Rocketeer,” commented Hardman. “I was first exposed to both the character and Stevens’ almost impossibly lush artwork when I picked up THE ROCKETEER ADVENTURE MAGAZINE from Comico at a comic shop as a teenager. It played directly into my love of pulpy storytelling of the 1930s and 1940s so having the chance to tell a tale in that world feels like a perfect fit for me. We’re adding a dose of wartime espionage into the mix as Cliff and Betty bring their unique skills to a mission to uncover a Nazi superweapon while using Betty’s acting career as a cover. Though they may lack experience in the spy game, they’ll have help from a dashing MI6 agent who unluckily for Cliff takes an amorous interest in Betty. I couldn’t be more excited about collaborating with artist Dean Kotz on this series. I’ve admired his work for years and this project is both a perfect fit for his style and an ideal story for us to collaborate.”
“I'm so stoked to be working with Gabriel on THE ROCKETEER: INFILTRATOR!,” added Kotz. “Gabriel is a master of pulp storytelling, and he's cooked up an awesome spy thriller premise with so many fun things to draw. When Cliff's not wearing his rocket zipping around WWII bombers and fighter planes, we get to see him out of his element in the shadowy world of international espionage. Meanwhile, Betty's undercover on a glamorous movie set being romanced by a secret agent. This book hits all the perfect pulp notes.”
The fan-favorite franchise continues to reach new heights at IDW Publishing with the new series THE ROCKETEER: THE ISLAND (debut issue on sale now) receiving rave reviews as well. “It’s a great year for The Rocketeer! THE ISLAND saw him travel to a fantastical island in search of Amelia Earhart, based on a story by Rocketeer creator Dave Stevens. It infused everything about the character that fans fell in love with, while opening the door for a new generation,” stated Editor Nicolas Niño. “With INFILTRATOR!, Gabriel Hardman and Dean Kotz are telling a story that indulges the type of Rocketeer story a lot of readers love: one where he's out of his element. For a guy with a highly-combustible rocket strapped to his back, going incognito is a nightmare we'll love to pick up and read.”

The Weekly 2000 AD Lands in ASDA
Big news from Rebellion, with 2000 AD spreading its reach across the UK and being available in Asda supermarkets - this, along with the availability in Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Morrisons, Co-Op and many more, makes it easier to get this great anthology.
Brace yourselves, readers: starting with next week’s 2000 AD Prog 2475, The Galaxy’s Greatest Comic will now be available to pick up each and every week at ASDA!
The news means ASDA joins major supermarkets across the UK including Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Co-Op and many more in stocking 2000 AD in their magazine section - and overnight, becomes one of the major stockists of the comic in the UK.
The first issue available through ASDA will be 2000 AD Prog 2475, which features a cover from legendary artist Colin MacNeil, and stories including Judge Dredd, Brink, Tharg’s 3rillers, and The Discarded - as well as a complete Future Shock from Andi Ewington and John McCrea.
Publishing since 1977, 2000 AD is the weekly 32-page anthology featuring five serialised stories in each issue. Featuring Judge Dredd – The Ultimate Lawman of the Future – 2000 AD has also been home to iconic and influential series including Strontium Dog, Halo Jones, Nemesis the Warlock, ABC Warriors and many more.
The crucible which introduced creators including Alan Moore, John Wagner, Pat Mills, Brian Bolland, Grant Morrison, Dave Gibbons, Al Ewing and many more to the comics industry, 2000 AD is the home to genre-defying and anarchic comics which challenge authority and give readers a taste of the unknown and bizarre. Currently 2000 AD features stunning visions of science fiction such as the cosmic horror of Brink; the violent and vampiric Silver; the fantastical steampunk universe of Brass Sun; and the dark and depraved dystopia of The Fall of Deadworld, as well as many other stories.
And the news comes ahead of 2000 AD’s first 48-page bumper issue of the year, out on the 1st April, which will feature classic characters Judge Dredd and Rogue Trooper, a standalone Red Dragon thriller from Rob Williams, Steve Yeowell and Patrick Goddard, and the return of the steampunk aerial adventure of Ian Edginton and D’Israeli’s Helium!
