No One Gets Hurt - A 24 Page Cerebral Horror Comic
Thirteen years ago, Nora Dalloway and her friends were celebrating a final time before the end of their senior year. They were happy, full of life, and ready for their next chapters. Nobody wanted it to end. But it did. In blood and death, with Nora arrested and everyone she cared about stripped from her life without an explanation. But that was then, this is now. Released from Elmhurste Rehabilitation Center, Nora returns to the place where it all began with a single goal in mind: facing down the demons. Nobody is getting hurt again.

Noir Returns! Illidge & Chriscross Lead Season 2, Episode 2
A new Noir Is The New Black season is now being funded on Kickstarter.
After a triumphant $48,000 debut in 2020 and a rousing kickoff for Season 2 earlier this summer, FairSquare Graphics returns with the anthology, NOIR IS THE NEW BLACK, Episode 2, and the stakes have never been higher!

Front and center is THE WINTERFIELDS, the hard-charging thriller from writer Joseph P. Illidge—known for Bloodletter, The Shadow Cabinet, and the forthcoming Harriet Tubman graphic novel—and veteran artist Chriscross, whose dynamic work has defined classics like Static Shock and Weapon X-Men. Cain Winterfield and his son remain fugitives on a mission to protect a young girl whose very life makes her a target. The duo’s second installment sharpens the edge of family-driven suspense and expands a world only they could create.
Illidge, a groundbreaking editor and writer with credits spanning Milestone to DC’s Batman line, continues to redefine contemporary noir, while Chriscross, bringing decades of Marvel and DC storytelling to his first fully creator-owned series, infuses the book with kinetic energy and relentless tension. Their collaboration anchors an episode that also delivers Tyrone Finch and Todd Harris’s What’s in a Name?, a tense undercover thriller about a man whose life changes during a bank robbery he never planned, and Greg Burnham and Quinn McGowan’s Little Rock Files, which pushes Detective Ousley closer to the truth about Kevin’s murder in a chapter where no one is safe.
“It’s great to be back with Noir Is The New Black Season Two: Episode Two after the successful launch of Issue One earlier this year,” said Joseph P. Illidge. “Chriscross and I turn the volume up on The Winterfields as bullets fly and rubber hits the pavement!”
Four striking covers heighten the drama, featuring art by Fiddler Sneaky, Chriscross, Quinn McGowan, and guest superstar Jamal Igle, whose variant also arrives as a limited holofoil edition. Backers can also choose from a sharp lineup of add-ons, including the original Noir Is the New Black digital edition, the coveted limited mini-bust statue created with GlenForge Studios, and other collector-grade exclusives.
Secure your copy of Noir Is the New Black: Season 2, Episode 2, claim your variant of choice, and help bring the next chapter of Black-led crime storytelling to life.
FairSquare Graphics continues to push the genre forward, paying homage to the Black Noir literary tradition born in the 1960s and reimagining it for the next generation of readers. Support powerful Black storytelling—The Winterfields is available exclusively through the Noir Is The New Black Kickstarter campaign, and ends October 25, 2025.

The pre-order campaign for WesterNoir Tales follows the hugely successful campaigns for volumes 1-3 and WesterNoir: Moon Cursed. Since its launch, this ever-expanding universe has found a secure place as one of the highlights of the British indie scene.
Speaking about what makes this new volume special, Dave West said: “This volume allows us to explore the world that Josiah navigates in his quests to hunt the monsters who prey on those trying to build new lives in the Wild West. It’s great for Gary and I to work on stories with artists we’ve respected and got to know over the years.”

Conquered - Vol. 1 of 4
From Mark Millar, a new Kickstarter project taking on the story that was a long time in the making!
Pitched originally when he was 13 years old. Conquered is a new comic series now on Kickstarter

The lights went out, the power went down and a hole in space as big as the world opened up. What came through tore America apart, the White House taken and the eyes of an enemy we didn’t know existed looking around for new nations to subdue.
Conquered is a fresh, four-volume series from the minds of Mark Millar (Kick-Ass, Civil War) and Valerio Giangiordano (Spawn) about a world grown soft with technology and man-made laws forced to fight for their lives or become the slaves to the millions of barbarians who charge in with their horses, dragons and mythological beasts we thought only existed in storybooks.
