With the release of new anthology comic, Quantum, Time Bomb Comics has news on a original art giveaway of the cover art.
With Time Bomb Comics’ new newsstands anthology, Quantum, hitting shops internationally on the 20th of April, Time Bomb is delighted to announce a competition to win the stunning original cover artwork pencilled by David Morris inked by Pat O’Connor. This giveaway is part of Quantum’s goal of encouraging buyers to visit their local Newsagent.
The art, showing characters from Quantum #1, is available to anyone who buys Quantum. In order to enter the competition, buyers of Quantum only need to share a selfie of themselves with their copy, along with the name and address of their Newsagents. These pictures can be shared on any social media platform used by Time Bomb Comics; Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, and should be tagged to Time Bomb Comics so that they can be found.
On the 21st of June a winner will be randomly selected from the entrants. Entries can come from anywhere across the world.
However, rather than just being a launch issue incentive Time Bomb Comics intends to give away the cover artwork for forthcoming issues of Quantum too in similar fashion.
Speaking about the importance of encouraging people to visit their local Newsagents and of supporting local businesses, Time Bomb Publisher Steve Tanner said:
“This isn't something that's just happening for Quantum No.1. That's right, Quantum will be giving away the cover artwork for each new issue to one of its readers.
We want to recognise how important the newsagents will be to Quantum's success, so that's why the rules of entry for our unique cover art giveaways are designed to give them some much deserved kudos too. So, if your local independent newsagent doesn’t have a copy of Quantum on the shelf, ask them to order one for you and enter our cover art competition when you get it.
It's just one part of what we'll be doing with Quantum. We hope the readers will enjoy the content, but we also hope they'll enjoy being involved with the comic on a deeper level. A Quantum level!”
Quantum represents a new and exciting development in the British indie comics scene; Time Bomb is delighted to be bringing comics to a new audience.
Quantum is available in News Agents and WHSmiths across the UK now, and available by post from Forbidden Planet Internationally
