The Cartoon Museum in London is running a unique crowdfunding to finance the building of a lift to improve visitor access. It also offers a selection of gifts for various pledges.
The Cartoon Museum is currently running a crowdfunder to repair its lift and become more accessible to the entirety of the public, after issues with the current lift have meant that for the past year visitors with mobility access have required staff help to enter the building. We want as many people as possible to experience the wonderful world of cartoons on their own terms, and have so far managed to raise £45,000 towards the total cost of the works. To get us there we have partnered with the incredible Ralph Steadman to launch a crowdfunder to bring in the final £10,000 we need and we’d love your help sharing the news.

Vault Comics has announced they are to publish comics adapted from Rhett C. Bruno’s The Roach.
As part of their recently announced partnership with Aethon Books, Vault Comics will adapt Aethon CEO Rhett C. Bruno’s novel, The Roach, to graphic novel format. The story of a vigilante hero permanently disabled in a gunfight, who finds himself once again called upon to protect his city, The Roach received multiple awards including the 2020 Independent Audiobook Award Winner for Best Thriller/Suspense and the 2020 Best Indie Book Award for Action / Adventure.
“We rarely publish work in the superhero genre at Vault. When we do, we look for something that redefines what you can expect from a superhero book, and pushes the limits of the genre. The Roach does both,” said Vault CEO Damian Wassel.” We’re extremely excited to work with Rhett and Kurt Yaeger to bring this superhero story back home to comics.”
“The Roach was a passion project for me more than any other,” said Rhett Bruno. “I couldn’t be more excited to see what the Vault team does with Reese’s unlikely story of redemption.”
Publication plans and a creative team have not yet been announced.
Bruno and Vault will work closely with renowned actor, writer, director, disability advocate, and professional athlete, Kurt Yaeger to ensure they bring authenticity and care to the graphic novel’s representation of the titular disabled hero.
Meanwhile, The Roach is currently under option and in development as an episodic series with Sony Television.
The Roach is available on Audible, in ebook formats from Aethon Books, and in print from Blackstone Publishing
