Harker is back in production at Time Bomb Comics
Excellent news from Time Bomb Comics, with the announcement of the return of Harker in Harker: The Fourth Man.
Time Bomb Comics is delighted to share that Harker is expected to make its return with a brand-new story, Harker: The Fourth Man, coming in 2026.
The series, a darkly comic detective adventure, follows the titular Harker and his second in command, Critchley, as they investigate gruesome murders across Britain. Known for its sharp writing and art from writer Roger Gibson and artist Vince Danks, Harker has found a passionate audience and has enjoyed a cult status since its original launch as single issues their Ariel Press.
Since coming to Time Bomb Comics in 2020, Harker has re-released two stories, Harker: The Book of Solomon and Harker: The Black Hound in full-colour and introduced the detectives to a whole new audience. The Fourth Man will be the first completely new story produced since the move to Time Bomb.

Set in Portmeirion, famous for its role as The Village in Patrick McGoohan’s The Prisoner, this story sees our detectives enter the world of espionage, investigating not one but two brutal murders amongst the picturesque faux-Italian architecture. With sly nods towards James Bond, The Man From UNCLE, Matt Helm, The Avengers (the show) and The Prisoner, Harker: The Fourth Man will continue the much-loved adventures of the sardonic investigating duo.
Speaking on the return of Harker to Time Bomb, artist Vince Danks said:
“Roger and I had great fun working on Gravestown, but it’s really exciting to be back working on a new Harker book for Time Bomb Comics. We’ve come up with a great story and I’m really pleased with how the artwork is progressing…I think fans and newcomers will love it!”
Publisher Steve Tanner added:
“Many comic fans have been waiting a long time for a new Harker story, including me. I’m happy to share that, having seen some of Vince’s astonishing new art pages, it definitely has been worth the wait!”
Old and new fans can stay updated to everything Harker via a new Patreon page, created by Danks. This will also provide fans with the opportunity to help fund Harker’s production in return for advance previews of artwork and discounts in the Patreon shop.

If your entire life was online against your will—if everyone knew about your potty training, your first breakup, and even your coming out story—how would you feel? I Didn’t Ask For This follows the members of Not Your Baby Anymore, a group of kids who share one thing in common: their parents are social media influencers who have shared their entire lives online. The group forms a chosen family as each member struggles with how to break away from a life and fame that they didn’t ask for and do not want.
“Growing up in a small town where everyone knew my business and with a mother who didn’t respect my boundaries, I deeply relate to the members of Not Your Baby Anymore and their need for privacy and self-definition,” said Jennie Wood. “Like Daisy in I Didn’t Ask For This, I found my way through music and a chosen family while living in Chicago. I hope this story encourages readers to keep forging their own path. It may be turbulent at times, but it is the journey that leads you to your people and your place in the world.”
Illustrator, Josh Cornillon, added, “I can’t wait for young readers to get their hands on I Didn’t Ask For This and see the story of Daisy and her pals learning to advocate for themselves and the importance of their voices! I hope our readers, across every spectrum, can feel the passion and dedication Jennie and I had for crafting these confident and creative characters, and can learn that their voice matters too. This story is ultimately about the value of building community - something we all need more of in these turbulent times.”
In a time when headlines and viral discussions around the legal ramifications of child influencers are intensifying—from Ruby Franke to broader debates on labor and privacy—I Didn’t Ask For This stands at the heart of a conversation young readers are already having.
For fans of activism books for teens like Drawn to Change, realistic portrayals of teen relationships like Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me, and cultural reflection like Displacement.
I Didn’t Ask For This is available wherever books are sold on April 14, 2026, and in comic shops on April 15, 2026. Preorders are available now through comic shops, bookstores, digital retailers, and directly from Maverick!
