Jam Roly-Poly: Travel To Lisbon
The capital city of Portugal held something very interesting
I’ve always enjoyed travelling. Even if I’ve been driving myself or away with the family. I’m happy to go by car, train, boat or plane. I’ve been lucky enough to see much of Europe and always liked seeing something different.
In the case of this first issue of Custard, I drew from a recent trip where I visited Lisbon, and I looked up to see if there were any places of interest to check out.
Jutting out from the hills of Lisbon was the Santa Justa Lift.
It took some walking, and poking out from behind the buildings was this interesting piece of architecture.
It was well worth the walk - and the wait in the queue - and after the wait, we went for a trip. As I mentioned, travel is fun, and this was an extra bit of travel. And the view from the top is magnificent.
I had found my first regular feature - travel, the weird and the unusual worldwide.
