Mercy Sparx, Circuits-Seduction-Revenge Get New Ongoing Series this October from Devil’s Due
Devil’s Due has announced two new upcoming series – Mercy Sparx: Heaven’s Devil and Circuits-Seduction-Revenge.
Following the success of the busiest Mercy Sparx publishing schedule in several years, Heaven’s secret “fixer” returns in Mercy Sparx: Heaven’s Devil this October. An all new quarterly series written by Josh Blaylock, with art by Blaylock and Brian Rogers, and colors by Eisner Award Winners Greg + Fake. The series continues from the events of the sell-out hit “Daddy Issues” miniseries and spin-off success Club Nephilim.

Mercy Sparx is known in divine circles as “Heaven’s Devil” - AKA Heaven’s fixer, sent to do the dirty work angels won’t touch. For years, this devil secretly living among us has left a trail of broken bottles, broken noses, and broken hearts in her wake. But now chaos has come calling again, as a mysterious “nobody” who has lurked in the shadows since Mercy’s first days on Earth rises to become her most dangerous nemesis yet. A perfect jumping on point for new Mercy readers!
Made successful through a savvy confluence between in-store comic shop releases and Kickstarter exclusive content, Mercy Sparx has found its way to new heights of success, and is currently still active in development for film & TV with Assemble Media.

Circuits-Seduction-Revenge, the gonzo cyberpunk, sexy action one-shot from last year also debuts an all new quarterly ongoing series, merging the worlds of “Circuits” with that of the Blaylock and Mark Powers’ The Encoded, taking place five years before the events of The Encoded #1.
Written by Josh Blaylock with art by Jethro Morales, with covers by artists including Sveta Shubina and Joel H Herrera
In 2050 AD, a mysterious rogue pleasure android wreaks havoc on the trillionaire class as they are forced to turn to an equally dangerous artificial life-form to stop her. In a time after humanity has survived the AI singularity and settled into a strange new equilibrium: futuristic metropolises under mandatory “logdowns,” cities reserved for sentient survivors of a deactivated AI consciousness, and breakaway communities living like it’s still 1985.
Mercy Sparx: Heaven’s Devil #1 and Circuits-Seduction-Revenge #1 both debut this October, continuing Devil’s Due Studios’ 25th anniversary year-long celebration and true to its new focus on stories in the supernatural, sci-fi, and high concept action realms. Available through Lunar Distribution via Massive Indies, Kickstarter, and DevilsDue.net
The Latest Invasion From Eli Powell
Upcoming from Invader Comics is a new addition to their ‘Invader Comics Presents’ series with Devil’s Class.
The latest entry in our “Invader Comics Presents” series is here!
Mr. Smith begins a new assignment, teaching at a strange private school. But what happens after class is much worse than detention. From Eli Powell, who previously brought us “Ravage” and “Still”, comes his newest horror mystery “Devil’s Class” - a chilling, haunting combination of “Children of the Corn” and “Shutter Island”. With stunning, hand-drawn art, “Devil’s Class” will leave you captivated with every spooky page..
When we first found Eli, we were stuck by the intensity, the brutality, and the beauty of his work. The fact that it's all hand-drawn only makes it more rare. As you can see, Eli's art is visceral, raw, haunting, and detailed enough that you're gonna want to stare at every page. The "Invader Comics Presents" series has previously featured some of our best-selling books like "The Devil in the Herd" and "Space Minotaur". Tell your local shop to pre order "Devil's Class" before the order window closes on MONDAY!! Just show them the image above and tell them to look for it in the Massive Indies section of the Lunar catalog!
IDW Unveils Big TMNT 2027 Plans with Matthew Rosenberg as the New Flagship Writer and Last Ronin III
Two big announcements from IDW Publishing about the future of the main Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series and a look to the future in Last Ronin III.
A new wave of Turtle fandom is coming to comic shops in 2027.
When the best-selling TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES (TMNT) flagship series reaches issue #25 in 2027, current writer Gene Luen Yang will pass the bo staff to award-winning writer Matthew Rosenberg (If Destruction Be Our Lot, Spawn, Uncanny X-Men) and amazing artist Juann Cabal (Daredevil, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Elektra). While the acclaimed writer is no stranger to playing in Marvel and DC’s sandbox, it’s the indie space where he has truly thrived and made an unforgettable impact on the comic industry. Rosenberg, a lifelong resident of the Turtles’ very own New York City, is bringing this same energy to the Heroes in a Half-Shell. Prepare for a thrilling story as the greatest roster of villains, both new and old, have assembled to hunt down the Turtles over the course of a single night.

“Before I was even a teenager, I was spending all my time reading superhero comics. But it wasn't until a clerk at my local comic shop told me I had to buy an issue of the Eastman and Laird run of TMNT that I actually fell in love with comics,” stated Rosenberg. “From my first introduction to those Mirage issues, I've followed the Turtles the whole way. It is truly an honor to not only add to the legacy of four of New York's greatest heroes, but to follow in the footsteps of so many creators I love like Erik Larsen, Jim Lawson, Sophie Campbell, Tom Waltz, and most recently legends like Jason Aaron, Juan Ferreyra, Gene Luen Yang, and Freddie E. Williams II. I hope I can bring even just a little bit of what I love about the Turtles to this book. We're making a book that has everything I love about TMNT: shells-against-the-wall grittiness, laugh-out-loud humor, non-stop intensity, and some genuine family drama.”
“Working on TMNT has been a dream come true,” commented Yang. “I’m sad to leave, though I’m also excited about the creator-owned project that is pulling me away. And I’m super excited to continue with the Turtles as a fan! Matthew Rosenberg is going to knock it out of the park!”
The best-selling saga THE LAST RONIN returns to comic shops next summer for its epic finale and will leave fans feeling shellshocked. TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: THE LAST RONIN III - RETURN FOR NEW YORK reunites the legendary original creative team - Kevin Eastman, Tom Waltz, Isaac & Esau Escorza, Ben Bishop, Luis Antonio Delgado, and Shawn Lee - for the can’t-miss conclusion of their grand plans for the Roninverse and its new heroes Casey Marie Jones, Odyn, Moja, Uno, and Yi.
"When Kevin Eastman and I sat down to write the original TMNT: THE LAST RONIN, we had high hopes readers would love the story just as much as we loved telling it. Little did we know, that love would be exponentially returned to us and our amazing art teams," said Waltz. "From that first volume, throughout all the subsequent prequels/sequels that have followed in what we now fondly call the Roninverse. And, here we are, capping off the main trilogy with TMNT: THE LAST RONIN III - RETURN FOR NEW YORK... and we couldn't be happier! Our creative excitement and enthusiasm remain fully intact, and we are all striving to produce a grand finale worthy of its predecessors. But the real question is, will Casey Marie Jones, Odyn, Uno, Yi, and Moja be worthy of their TMNT predecessors in this ultimate battle for the heart and soul of New York City?"
"It's hard to believe this journey started nearly forty years ago with a simple twenty five page outline by Peter Laird and myself, finally brought to life with such an incredible creative team, the support of Nickelodeon and IDW, and most of all, the fans," stated Eastman. "We couldn't have done it without you! We all hope this final installment of this trilogy is worthy, we're all working hard to bring this important part of this next generation of Ninja Turtles to a place we never dreamed we'd be able to when we first started. Thanks a billion trillion!”
More big reveals will leap out of the shadows later this year about IDW’s exciting plans for Turtles comics in 2027. In the meantime, the massive milestone issue TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #300 – which kicks off the first part of the blockbuster story ‘The City That Never Dies’ – and the action-packed oversized one-shot TMNT: THE LAST RONIN - TRAINING DAY are available now at comic shops.
