This has been a hell of a ride as we have followed the monster known as Mumm Ra through time and space.
Here we pick up with his first meeting with the Thundercats and his involvement with their leaving the planet now known as Third Earth.
As the reader, we know Mumm Ra’s nature, but at this point the Thundercats do not. What follows is Mumm Ra’s lust for more power and his reaction to being denied it by the leaders of the Thundercats. His dripping of poison into the ears of those around him was cleverly done, as well as closing the memory loophole of why the Thundercats were not remembered.
It then leads us well into the now and what he is up to – which is pretty gruesome – and into the main series.
A clever issue with some excellent artwork too.
