From DC Comics the story continues with some clever storytelling in The Fury Of Firestorm #5 as my pick of the week.
CAN RONNIE RAYMOND BE SAVED? Firehawk and Martin Stein arrive in Pittsburgh with a plan to save Ronnie from the Firestorm Matrix! But is Ronnie too far gone inside of his own mind to truly be saved?

This continues to be some excellent storytelling, combining the now along with some flashbacks. The flashbacks did make me smile, with some silver-age banter between the Justice League.
This makes an interesting link between what is going on in Firestorm’s head now, combined with the worries of when he first joined.
With that, there is an interesting attempt to get to the mind of Ronnie – lost in the Firestorm matrix – and it nearly works, but at least it shows that he is there.
Where this leads will be interesting, but it also shows the strength of the character and something for the future.
