From Marvel Comics, Ultimate Black Panther #24 is the final issue of this run.
THE EPIC FINALE!
T’Challa vs. the Progenitors in a final showdown for control of not only vibranium and Wakanda, but the whole world. And what role will the mysterious “Child of Light” play in all this?
Don’t miss the thrilling finale that brings this epic series to a close!
Author: Bryan Hill, Artist: Stefano Caselli
I’ve found the Ultimate titles a little hit-and-miss, but the Ultimate Black Panther run has been pretty consistent, leading up to this final issue.
It is a bit of a wrap-up issue, with Black Panther making his plans and bringing Ultimate Wakanda into the wider world, but there is a finish here, and it wraps things up nicely, with potential for more in the future.
The nature of the vibranium was well played, as was the way the King approached his meeting in the other plane against the foe. With all the characters getting their time to shine.
The art is really strong with some excellent moments and effects. Especially the close-up shots.
This is a really strong series and gives us a bit of everything!

Great breakdown of this finale! The vibranium mechanics as a plot device really seperate this from standard superhero fare because it transforms political contorl into metaphysical stakes. I've noticed finale issues often struggle to balance wrap-up with world-building, but sounds like Hill managed both here without feeling rushed.
