Crowdfunding platform Zoop has a new addition to back - Paul Allor's Pink Midnight Presents: Barber Psychic.
Part 2 of the Pink Midnight Presents Anthology Series is now live on Zoop!
Pink Midnight Presents is the horror anthology comic series in the vein of The Twilight Zone meets Black Mirror. It’s subtle, mental manipulation can be even scarier than blood and guts. Part two of this series Barber Psychic launches today on the Zoop crowdfunding platform.
Pink Midnight Presents is a team made of up writer, Paul Allor (TMNT/ Street Fighter, X-Men, G.I. Joe), artist Juan Romera (IDW, CEX), and editor Claire Napier (The Magic Necklace, Image Comics). The team have been working together for over a decade, and have decided that NOW is the time for their series of stories to reach their audience.
The premise of Barber Psychic is simple, but complex. Clarence Adams is a small-town barber with a horrible secret: when he cuts your hair, he sees your future. But Clarence tells no one, and does all he can to keep the future intact. He works. He gets married. He lives a life. He lives the life he knows is laid out for him. Pink Midnight Presents: Barber Psychic follows eighty years in one man's life, as Clarence tries to do what's right by doing nothing, even as an increasingly uncertain future threatens to swallow him whole.
Paul Allor is the writer of the current Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs. Street Fighter title at IDW comics, and has written other TMNT books, GI Joe, as well as titles for Marvel, Image, Vault and more.
Zoop CEO, Jordan Plosky shares: “We’re incredibly excited for the next installment of Pink Midnight Presents. The Zoop platform is designed exactly for the model that Paul is laying out. We look forward to many more installments, and the future successes of this team!”
