PUNK TACO is a loveable space-taco who rocks out across the universe with his band, spreading peace and love through music. Along the way, they seem to always get into a bit of trouble while helping those in need and doing the right thing against impossible odds.
In this brand-new collection of stories from the father-son writer team Adam Wallenta and Makana Wallenta, PUNK TACO and the band will do battle against the evil King Boogar, to help reunite their new friend, Philip, with his family, while discovering the mysterious, magical powers of the Evocaja.

PLUS two bonus stories that have PUNK TACO experiencing big feelings and sharing his love for art with his friend, Bash. Featuring art by Makana Wallenta, Scott Chantler, Rich Koslowski, DJ JS-1, Chuck D (Public Enemy), Mike Cavallaro, Art Baltazar, Frano and more!
“I started producing and self-publishing Punk Taco with my son when he was 5-years-old and it has been an amazing journey and experience to share with him. Working with my son, to bring his ideas to life and watching him grow as a writer and artist has been the highlight of my 30+ year career and makes me a proud father, said Adam Wallenta. “What started out as simply a regular day of playing and drawing and sharing ideas, turned into a personal family project that would transform into a series of successful books that we have dedicated our lives to and inspire others to make their own books and tell their stories. Punk Taco was inspired by many amazing books we read together during our daily visits to our local libraries and we produced the original hardcover stories as a love letter to the libraries and librarians that inspire readers of all ages. Punk Taco is part musician, part hero and ultimately represents the positive spirit within all of us to be creative, help others and be a good friend.”
“Creating Punk Taco and writing stories with my dad is one of the most fun experiences as we get to explore a whole new universe together and let our imaginations run wild,” Makana Wallenta said. “I am so excited to tell new Punk Taco stories and for more people to be able to discover the series with the new release by Papercutz.”
“The first two volumes of the award-winning Punk Taco series are getting the "combo meal" treatment—they're being served hot and fresh through definitive releases stuffed with extra flavor, action, humor, heart, and stories from guest creators. Make sure to save some room on your plate, though--we've got even more stories being prepped for dessert, too!” said Papercutz’ senior editor Chas! Pangburn.
Available in hardcover (ISBN: 9781545822869; $17.99) and paperback (ISBN: 9781545822852; $12.99) now, PUNK TACO is available for purchase wherever books are sold. Be sure to add this wonderful volume to your collection today!
Blue Falcon & Dynomutt Star in New Comic Book Series!
Palmiotti & Qualano Take on Big City Crime in September in The Blue Falcon & Dynomutt from Dynamite Comics.
Two of the greatest heroes flash through the sky and onto the comics page this September, as the Hanna-Barbera classic The Blue Falcon & Dynomutt debuts with a new comic book series from Dynamite Entertainment and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products!

Secure in their life of luxury in a penthouse high above the streets of Big City, wealthy inventor and art collector Radley Crown and his faithful canine companion have enjoyed a charmed existence. That all changes one fateful day when a vicious gang shatters their complacency. From this tragedy will rise two of the most impressive and vigilant superheroes. In the aftermath, Crown puts to work his inimitable technical abilities to rebuild himself and his four-legged friend into unrivaled instruments of retribution — The Blue Falcon and Dynomutt, Dog Wonder!
Growing up on the cartoon, writer Jimmy Palmiotti has always held onto memories of this iconic duo. The prolific Harley Quinn, Jonah Hex scribe, is joined by powerhouse penciler Pasquale Qualano (Dejah Thoris, DC vs. Vampires) for a modern take on this crime-fighting duo. Big City's beloved protectors are back for a dark tale of justice and revenge set to thrill readers.
"This is not the origin of Blue Falcon, but a story about a man and his dog and their connection throughout a major event in both their lives," said writer Jimmy Palmiotti. "Number one for me in writing this series is that it has to be fun — well, my version of fun anyway. I will say that some of it is much darker than people might remember, but it makes sense to the characters. I updated the world around them a bit for sure."
To portray Big City's blue-fitted hero and his man's best friend turned criminal's worst enemy, a super squad of top cover artists contribute variant covers to the series. These include Lucio Parrillo, Joseph Michael Linsner, Francesco Mattina, and Jimmy's partner in life and frequent partner in comics Amanda Conner.
THE BLUE FALCON & DYNOMUTT #1 will be solicited in Diamond Comic Distributors’ July 2025 Previews catalog, the premier source of merchandise for the comic book specialty market, and slated for release in September 2025. Comic book fans are encouraged to preorder copies of the book with their local comic book retailers.
ThunderCats Cheetara Special Sets Up Next Huge Epic!
Dynamite Comics Thundercats series continues to be excellent, and now there is a Cheetara special to set up the next arc!
The new era of ThunderCats tales in comics from Dynamite Entertainment and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products has brought countless new characters and exciting adventures to fans. The next massive mythos-shaking epic is set up this September in Cheetara: Worldbreaker!

Following her critically acclaimed first ever solo series from Soo Lee and Domenico Carbone and the smash hit that was the Apex special, Cheetara stars in another upcoming unforgettable ThunderCats one-shot. Packed with extra content (28 story pages!) and extra excitement, Worldbreaker also marks the franchise writing debut in comic books of regular editor Nate Cosby. He's been along for the whole ride of this new comics era across the franchise, overseeing and guiding the stories behind the scenes. Recently working with Declan Shalvey (ThunderCats) and Ed Brisson (Lost, SilverHawks) as they gear up for an upcoming HUGE storyline, Nate had some ideas about Cheetara that had never been told before, and the result is Worldbreaker!
"This story takes place in the past, present, and future, introduces new characters, and sets the table for the massive story to come," said writer Nate Cosby. "I only script when I feel I have something to say about a character, so Worldbreaker is particularly personal and exciting to me."
Paired by artist David Cousens making his Dynamite interior art debut, recently wowing fans on covers for SilverHawks and The Terminator, the creative team transports readers back to Thundera's Golden Age. Through this tale, Cheetara's mystical connection to the Sixth Sense evolves, from a terribly frightening force to harness to beginning to master the mysterious power. Though nothing will be able to prepare her for the shattering discovery of who else shares this psychic link with her, and that every power has a price!
Cosby and Cousens are joined by a set of psyche-shattering covers by franchise mainstays Declan Shalvey, Lucio Parrillo, Ivan Tao, and Edwin Galmon. An additional variant excitingly presents some classic animation artwork in a slick new way!
Fans should not miss this essential chapter in the ongoing ThunderCats saga, building towards the biggest story yet!
THUNDERCATS: WORLDBREAKER will be solicited in Diamond Comic Distributors’ July 2025 Previews catalog, the premier source of merchandise for the comic book specialty market, and slated for release in September 2025. Comic book fans are encouraged to preorder copies of the book with their local comic book retailers.
