The Armageddon Game continues across the universe of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Check out some thoughts on these from IDW Publishing.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Armageddon Game #4
CHAOS BEGETS CHAOS! As the contest for the world continues, players on all sides are quickly finding their game plans in absolute disarray! Unexpected participants and unforeseen pitfalls have combined to create havoc in three separate dimensions, and heroes and villains alike are forced to make countermoves to their countermoves. And all the while, the wily Rat King laughs in the shadows…

Things seem to be calming down regarding the storytelling in this spin-off series from the main run. It seemed a little scattered as all the characters rushed off to their missions. All the characters are scattered, but everything feels more settled into their places.
We kick off with some calm as the Pantheon (minus the Rat King) meet and decide what to do. There are some interesting comments about previous games and what was done. It does feel like it’s only a matter of time until they get involved at some point.
The rest of the issue concentrates on Raphael (and Hob) and Leonardo (with Shredder). I find this works really well, with the street-level battle Raph is having - with some interesting revelations about who they are battling - and Leonardo letting the dark side out in space. Both stories have some excellent moments, and it will be interesting to see where we are when this all settles down. There are going to be some new relationships, as well as some old ones that have broken.
The art is excellent, with some really well-told fight scenes and subtle moments. This was a good issue that really brought the arc forward.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #136
Official Armageddon Game tie-in! As Donnie, Angel, and Carmen fight desperately to save the Regenta Seri from Utrom assassins at the Turtles’ home lair, Jennika wages her own battle against the imposter TMNT in the streets of Mutant Town! Meanwhile, the E.P.F.—under the direction of Colonel Knight and his Darkwater mercenaries—are mounting an invasion to put down the “mutant threat” to humanity once and for all. And outside the Mutant Town walls, Venus, Bludgeon, and Koya are beginning to question their loyalty to Karai and Foot Clan. Can the good guys come together and prevail against the deadly threats that surround them on all sides? Or will the Rat King and his Trio of Terror win the final trophy in…the Armageddon Game?

At first, I did wonder what the link to The Armageddon Game was. As the story progresses, it has some slight links.
Donatello has his work cut out with the defence of Regenta Seri, luckily, he does get some help, but these Utrom are not going to stop.
Donatello has a semblance of a plan, but things don’t work quite the way he hopes. Nevertheless, it does move both the Armageddon Game story and the current arc nicely - credit to the writers for keeping these going consecutively.
The art works well, with big blasts and some magic being used. There are a lot of scopes to play with in this issue.
The issue ends with an interesting link and some issues between the Utroms too!
