Review: 2000 AD - Prog 2248
Out now from Rebellion, this is the latest issue of 2000 AD - Prog 2248.
UK and DIGITAL: 8 September £3.10
NORTH AMERICA: 27 October $31 (per pack)
DIAMOND: JUL211885
COVER: CLIFF ROBINSON (A) DYLAN TEAGUE (C)
Judge Dredd: The House on Bleaker Street by Kenneth Niemand (w) Nick Percival (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
The horror style continues here, with some reasons behind all the death. It's well done and I like the way it is being set up. The reanimated corpses are an interesting addition, and I'm really enjoying this story.
Skip Tracer: Eden by James Peaty (w) Paul Marshall (a) Dylan Teague (c) Jim Campbell (l)
Nimrod is dealt with well, with some help. And now we're onto the end game here. Some good stuff and seeing Nimrod's face was brilliant.
Dexter: Somewhere, Beyond The Sea by Dan Abnett (w) Tazio Bettin (a) John Charles (c) Simon Bowland (l)
A face from the past, and I like the reactions to this save. It continues on the story well and adds some to the rules of the game here.
Tharg's 3rillers present The Mask of Laverna by Robert Murphy (w) Steven Austin (a) Matt Soffe (c) Simon Bowlan (l)
The second part of this three-parter makes a lot of sense, with the action moving on swiftly. The use of the gods and their proxies is a good mix with the criminal aspect.
Jaegir: The Path of Kali by Gordon Rennie (w) Simon Coleby (a) Len O'Grady (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Some more information here, and this looks to be a nasty one. It's interesting to see the Southerners more in here.
