Judge Dredd: The Musical! by Rob Williams (w) Chris Weston (a) Gary Caldwell (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
I love seeing the return of the friendly Klegg. The story of his fame and fortune was well done, and I like the way it builds up. This looks to be a light-hearted story, where things are going to go wrong!
The Diaboliks: London Calling by Gordon Rennie (w) Dom Reardon (a) Jim Campbell (l)
An interesting flashback here, while things seem to be happening in the background. I get the feeling of V For Vendetta here in the origin, but the use of the dying days of WWII was interesting.
Dexter: Lordy Jordy, King of Everything by Dan Abnett (w) Tazio Bettin (a) Matt Soffe (c) Simon Bowland (l)
The AI isn't here, but there is some low-tech danger. I like the way it pans out and the additional problems for the group. The art is fun with the dinosaurs too.
Scarlet Traces: Storm Front by Ian Edginton (w) D'Israeli (a) Simon Bowland
This was deep and a crux moment in this war. I like the flashback to the previous forms too. There was a lot of talking, but a good issue.
The Out Book 2 by Dan Abnett (w) Mark Harrison (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
This was a deep issue. Playing around with Space/Time and some good aspects. The spoiler aspect was interesting and some of it comes to pass at the end. I am really getting into this series.
