Judge Dredd: Trinity by Ken Niemand (w) Richard Elson (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A fun inter-dimensional read, with some hat tips to fans of Dredd in other media. With three Dredds this was a good look at the similarities and the differences.
The Fall Of Deadworld: Jessica by Kek-w (w), Dave Kendall (a) Jim Campbell (l)
Another interesting one-shot, with some good storytelling and the predictable grim aspects. Well told and a nice addition to the Deadworld mythos though. These will all link together nicely.
Kingmaker: Falls The Shadow by Ian Edginton (w) Leigh Gallagher (a) Jim Campbell (l)
Good to see this return and a packed first issue to this arc. There are some interesting aspects here, and perhaps a threat for a later day. Some good character moments.
Dexter: Bulletopia by Dan Abnett (w) Tazio Bettin (a) Matt Soffe (c) Simon Bowland (l)
A buffer between arcs, but it does have some interesting aspects, plus a look at the past in a way. I like the setting and the way it moves the story forward.
The Order: Fantastic Voyage by Kek-W (w) John Burns (a) Simon Bowland (l)
The Order is back and things are looking interesting as we see what else there is out there. Some good character moments and some learning perhaps for some.
Tales From Mega-city One: Christmas Comes To Devil's Island by Karl Stock (w) James Newell (a) John Charles (c) Annie Parkehouse (l)
I really enjoyed this story and there was a good double ending to it all. A classic story, with a modern moment of introspection.
The Out: Book Two by Dan Abnett (w) Mark Harrison (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Something is wrong here, and we only get some hints towards what it is. I have a hunch, but I don't want to give it away. Nevertheless, this was amusing and serious in all the right places.
Proteus Vex: Desire Paths by Mike Carroll (w) Jake Lynch (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)
It's good to see this return and it looks at the reaction to the last large arc. There are some interesting points made here, and I like the way it is all leading up to something.
