Judge Dredd: Working Girl by Kenneth Niemand (w) Patrick Goddard (a) Dylan Teague (c) Annie Parkhouse
This is a fast-paced issue, with a lot going on on the boards. I wonder how this is going to end up? Nevertheless, Dredd is there and that means it could get nasty. I'm enjoying this story though.
Proteus Vex: Desite Paths by Michael Carroll (w) Jake Lynch (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)
More mystery here, and I wonder what Proteus Vex knows. Knowledge is a good thing to barter and I like the way this pans out. There is some interesting history here.
The Order: Fantastic Voyage by Kek-W (w) John Burns (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Some classic-feeling action here, with a nice thread throughout. the ending was nice, and it builds up well on the story, with something more to come.
Kingmaker: Falls The Shadow by Ian Edginton (w) Leigh Gallagher (a) Jim Campbell (l)
Some interesting negotiating on both sides here. I like the acceptances made by the characters and it looks like it's going to set up something big. The humour was pretty funny and a relief too.
Saphir: Liaisons Dangereuses by Kek-W (w) David Roach (a) Peter Doherty (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
I love the art in this story - with some excellent aspects. Both the normal and the paranormal! This issue is setting things up for later in the story, but it is not without a shock or two!
