Judge Dredd: Extraordinary Deaths by TC Eglington (w) Silvia Califano (a) Gary Caldwell (c) Annie Parkhouse
A dark and amusing one-shot story for Dredd, I enjoyed the art and the running commentary was pretty good.
The Order: Fantastic Voyage by Kek-W (w) John Burns (a) Simon Bowland (l)
An action-packed issue here, with the fight against the Shadowmen. I like the way it kicks off, and the glimmer of hope. The ending is interesting and I wonder where that will lead...
Saphir: Liaisons Dangereuses by Kek-W (w) David Roach (a) Peter Doherty (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A great issue here, with a lot going on. The big action pieces are excellent. I like the build-up in all of this. The ending is interesting, and I suspect I know where this will lead.
Tharg's Terror Tales: Roots by PJ Holden (w+a) Simon Bowland (l)
A short horror tale here, with some good aspects. I did wonder where this would be leading to. I like the setup and the art here.
Proteus Vex: Desire Paths by Michael Carroll (w) Jake Lynch (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)
This was all go, but it moves the story on well. This leaves a couple of threads hanging, but moves us onto the next aspect of this story.
