Cadet Dredd: Red Medicine by James Peaty (w) luke Horsman (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
I enjoyed this issue, it delves deeper into the Mega City than usual for these stories, and a slightly older pair of Cadets. The finish was well done and I like the commentary by Dredd too.
Lowborn High by David Barnett (w) Anna Morozova (a) Jim Campbell (l)
A good twist on the magic school trope. There are some interesting characters that I would like to see expanded and I like the art. The ending leaves things open for future issues, although I could see this series in the main progs.
Future Shocks: Smart Home by Honor Vincent (w) VV Glass (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A fun future shock. Not as dark as the main ones, but with a feelgood ending. I like the art here, and the sleek designs of the robots.
The Unteachables by Karl Stock (w) Xulia Vicente (a) Matt Soffe (C) Simon Bowland (l)
Ah! Some school anarchy, this was great fun and a perfect fit for this issue. I like the characters and the buildup. The ending made me smile too.
Chopper: What Goes Up by David Barnett (w) Nick Roche (a) John Charles (C) Simon Bowland (l)
Good use of a Dredd-type character (to a point) and with a fun read. I like the use of BOING, and the finish behind it all.
