Judge Dredd: Buratino Must Die by Rob Williams (w) Henry Flint (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
We start with the beginning of the end here, and it will be interesting to see how we build to this point. Dredd’s reaction is interesting, and we get to see some of him in the past. Some good old-fashioned art too, which looks great with this story.
Chimpsky’s Law: A Terrifically Disturbing Adventure by Ken Niemand (w) PJ Holden (a) Chris Blythe (c) Simon Bowland (l)
A nice twist with Chimpsky. I like the doubt by the twins and what they are planning on doing. It’s still pretty dark and I wonder how this will pan out once our ape friend has discovered what is going on.
Hope... In The Shadows: Reel Two by Guy Adams (w) Jimmy Broxton (a) Jim Campbell (l)
That was unexpected. A different history with some magic thrown in. I like the way it panned out in the classroom, and the conference of powers is going to make this an interesting addition to the story.
Enemy Earth: Book One by Cavan Scott (w) Luke Horsman (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
The return we expected to move this story along. I like the action and it shows up well in a cramped space of the underground. The commentary is well done
Hershey by Rob Williams (w) Simon Fraser (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Hershey seems to have gained an ally in her quest in the cold. We get a further look at the problem and the drug involved. Of course, Frank would be the one going out there…
