Out now digitally and in print from Rebellion, here are some thoughts on 2000 AD - Prog 2309.
UK and DIGITAL: 23 November £3.50
NORTH AMERICA: 4 January 2024 $29.99 (per pack)
DIAMOND: SEP221930
COVER: SIMON FRASER
An action-packed cover, teasing the battle within for Hershey…
Judge Dredd: Buratino Must Die by Rob Williams (w) Henry Flint (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
An exciting conclusion here, with Dredd taking a different role. Looking back on the arc, it teases this method well, and I wonder what the fallout will be in the future…
Chimpsky’s Law: A Terrifically Disturbing Adventure by Ken Niemand (w) PJ Holden (a) Chris Blythe (c) Simon Bowland (l)
Not only does this complete the arc, but adds something more to Chimpsky and something moving forward. I like how it pans out and the worry he gets himself into. Hopefully, there will be more soon.
Enemy Earth: Book One by Cavan Scott (w) Luke Horsman (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A slower issue this week, but it finishes with a bang! I like the way this plays out and adds to the story - what next?
Hershey by Rob Williams (w) Simon Fraser (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Completing this part of the arc, and things are really ramping up here. I like the battle and the art - the white makes it look more creepy. The ending is big and looks to be a big job for Hershey coming soon.
