Cadet Dredd: Dream Team by Ned Hartley (w) Toby Willsmer (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
This was an enjoyable read, with some callbacks to previous adventures and a chilling look to what is to come for the clone-brothers. I loved the art and the symbolism within the story.
Lowborn High: Old Familiars by David Barnett (w) Anna Morozova (a) Phillip Vaughan (c) Jim Campbell (l)
A lot was going on here, but I enjoyed reading this. I would enjoy seeing this more regularly - instead of the occasional regened issue. This had it all with school, familiars, lycans, and witches.
Tough Crowd: A Robo-Hunter short story by Scott Montgomery
Something different here, and an enjoyable short story. I liked how it was laid out, with some usual Robo-Hunter fun!
Future Shocks: Vin-E, Blow The Doors! by James Peaty (w) Gary Welsh (a) Pippa Bowland (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
That was a fun read and an ending that went where I didn’t expect (and made me smile). The relationship between the thief and the robot was well done, with some excellent expressions.
Mayflies: The Scarab by Michael Carroll (w) Simon Coleby (a) Len O'Grady (c) Simon Bowland (l)
An interesting story and additions to the Mayfly story. I like how each of the characters are set up, and the ending wasn’t what I expected. Hopefully, we will see more of them in the future.
