The latest Prog of 2000 AD is out this week. Prog 2328 from Rebellion is available now in print and digitally. Here are some of my thoughts.
UK and DIGITAL: 19 April £3.50
NORTH AMERICA: 5 July 2024 $27.50 (per pack)
DIAMOND: MAR231808
COVER: JOHN MCCREA (A) MIKE SPICER (C)
Judge Dredd: The Disciples of Death by Ken Neimand (w) Neil Googe (a) Gary Caldwell (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
This was a pretty funny, and bloody start. It had a lot more humour than I expected given the story that is being told. I look forward to seeing where this goes.
Durham Red: Mad Dogs by Alec Worley (w) Ben Willsher (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Problems already with Red having a little trouble with the freefall. There is some action on the way down with mutant birds. I like the finish and it stacks the deck against the duo.
The Order: Heart of Darkness by Kek-W (w) John Burns (a) Jim Campbell (l)
A finish to one part and a good ending. Now we are onto the next part of the quest! I like the action and the time to chill out as well.
Enemy Earth: Book Two by Cavan Scott (w) Luke Horsman (a) Simon Bowland (l)
More mutated problems here, with anything from nature being an evil nemesis. We got there in the end, but we didn’t want the ending. This is pretty bad!
Rogue Trooper: Blighty Valley by Garth Ennis (w) Patrick Goddard (a) Rob Steen (l)
Some good action here, and Rogue shows what he can do. We get introduced to some of the squad, and there are some good moments with them and the chips. the ending comment made me smile as another attack came.
