An excellent cover portraying the horror beneath!
Judge Dredd: In The Event of My Untimely Demise by Mike Carroll (w) Paul Marshall (a) Dlan Teague (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
There are some good procedural aspects here, and I like the plotting and scheming. The build-up is good, with Dredd having that worrying tingle in his head.
Void Runners by David Hine (w) Boo Cook (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Some perfect art to go with this story. I love the humour/seriousness of it all, and it has some excellent moments. Some big panels and interesting sci-fi concepts.
Durham Red: Mad Dogs by Alec Worley (w) Ben Willsher (a) Simon Bowland (l)
It’s all unravelling, and the turn I wondered about is coming. I don’t think that will go down well, though, with Red. I like the hologram twist, and it’s good to see there is more to come from this story.
Enemy Earth: Book Two by Cavan Scott (w) Luke Horsman (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Finishing this arc, this had some excellent action and a real feel about the issues the humans are having and how much has broken down. It’s a good ending, with some great character moments. What next?
Rogue Trooper: Blighty Valley by Garth Ennis (w) Patrick Goddard (a) Rob Steen (l)
I like the questioning with Gunnar and the prisoner, and we get to the bottom of the why with the Black Hole. I like the conversation of what will happen if the squad get back, as well as their thoughts on Rogue.
