Judge Dredd: In The Event of My Untimely Demise by Mike Carroll (w) Paul Marshall (a) Dlan Teague (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Starting off with a (big) bang. This issue is more about the criminal backstabbing and what they are getting up to than Dredd. Nevertheless, it was a good issue and adds to the overall story.
Void Runners by David Hine (w) Boo Cook (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Some excellent pseudo-science here, and an enjoyable read. I liked the entry methods and the way everything is explained. Some great art - especially the mucus!
Durham Red: Mad Dogs by Alec Worley (w) Ben Willsher (a) Simon Bowland (l)
A good finish and a well-told finale to the story. Hopefully, we will see more of Red sooner rather than later. I like the timing of the issue here. Even some humour!
Azimuth by Dan Abnett (w) Tazio Bettin (a) Matt Soffe (c) Jim Campbell (l)
This was a good part two of the story. We get some details on the mission and continue to see more about the city and those who live within it. There are various threats to go with all the others and their wares. It finishes with an interesting cliffhanger too.
Rogue Trooper: Blighty Valley by Garth Ennis (w) Patrick Goddard (a) Rob Steen (l)
Wow! After WWI I didn’t think it could get any darker in this story, but it has. It is pretty breathtaking and has some excellent moments - and action too.
