Judge Dredd: A Fallen Man by Ken Niemand (w) Tom Foster (a) Chris Blythe (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
More deaths and conflict is causing some problems. I like this character's return, and having Dredd after him works well. There are some good scenes here, and the underbelly of Mega-City One is on show.
Azimuth: A Job For Suzi Nine by Dan Abnett (w) Tazio Bettin (a) Matt Soffe (c) Jim Campbell (l)
I love the twist here, and although the core gives away the last issue, this was a fantastic read. I’m glad to see Siniter back and how this all links into the larger story.
Portals & Black Goo by John Tomlinson (w) Eoin Coveney (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)
Some classic horror mixed together with some racism and food delivery. It flits from place to place well and has some brilliant art here.
Void Runners by David Hine (w) Boo Cook (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Completing the story here and continuing with the classic art style. I like the bittersweet ending and the enthusiasm that comes before.
Hershey: The Cold in the Bones by Rob Williams (w) Simon Fraser (a) Simon Bowland
Frank and Hershey are in a bad place. I love the setting and feel for Frank. hopefully, he pulls through, but it doesn’t look pretty from that last panel.
It’s chilling in more than one way!
