Cadet Dredd: Deep Trouble by Paul Starkey (w) Ben Willsher (a) Simon Bowland (l)
A fun read, with the clones working well together. Rico’s impetuous nature comes through here well, and I like some of the hints towards their future. Dredd planning comes to the fore here, and the ending made me smile!
Lowborn High: Fire & Frost by David Barnett (w) Mike Walters (a) Pippa Bowland (c) Jim Campbell (l)
We get some answers here, the who and part of the why. Even so, this story isn’t over yet, and I like the character development that happens. A change of scenery too with an interesting finish.
Future Shocks: Content Provider by Karl Stock (w) Joe Currie (a) Rob Steen (l)
Very apt future shock here; I like the chase and the reactions of everyone. The story moves fat with a good twist ending, too.
Bladers II by James Peaty (w) Mark Simmons (a) Gary Caldwell (c) Simon Bowland (l)
A new exciting race, with some semblance of vengeance and a good finish. I enjoyed the story and the overall pacing in it. The ‘science’ was a good touch.
