2000 AD- Prog 2368 is out this week in print and digital from Rebellion. Here are some of my thoughts on this latest issue.
UK and DIGITAL: 7 February £5.99
NORTH AMERICA: 6 March $28.99 (per pack)
DIAMOND: NOV231655
COVER: SIMON DAVIS
JUDGE DREDD // A BETTER WORLD by Rob Williams & Arthur Wyatt (w) Henry Flint (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
We’re starting to get a deeper look into the conspiracy here, and I wonder how many layers there are. Dredd’s chase for Domo continues, and I like the way the issue ends.
THE ENGLISH ASTRONAUT by Paul Cornell (w) Laura Helsby (a) Matt Soffe (c) Jim Campbell (l)
Historical and fictional characters here. This is an entertaining philatelic adventure, and I love the humour which seems very British.
FULL TILT BOOGIE // BOOK TWO by Alex de Campi (w) Eduardo Ocana (a) Eva De La Cruz (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
This is mainly about the upcoming quest. It lays it out well and I look forward to seeing the art in future issues. There is an interesting revelation too, but I like the medics creation to that as well.
ENEMY EARTH // BOOK THREE by Cavan Scott (w) Luke Horsman (a) Simon Bowland (l)
This is a frantic issue, with some good humour and action too. I like the method behind it all. It looks like we’re on the final run, with a good cliffhanger on the issue too. I love the packed art here.
THISTLEBONE // THE DULE TREE by T.C. Eglington (w) Simon Davis (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Along with the saucy cover (above), the story has a dark buildup. There are some interesting interactions between characters, and you know things are going to get worse soon!
