NEW: JUDGE DREDD // REND & TEAR WITH TOOTH & CLAW by Rob Williams (w) RM Guera (a) Julia Brusco (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
It's the proper start to a new story arc for Dredd here, and the attrition is already brutal. It’s excellent seeing Dredd outside his comfort zone, and I look forward to seeing more of this in this setting.
INDIGO PRIME // BLACK MONDAY by Kek-W (w) Lee Carter (a) Jim Campbell (l)
There are crazy attacks and defence and some real meta-style moments here. I love the build-up and the uniqueness of the characters. The attack at the end is particularly amusing, too.
NEW: TERROR TALES // ANTUMNOS by Jon Lock (w) Richard Elson (a) Simon Bowland (l)
This is an excellent story of the Terror Tales. It takes some brilliant mythology and twists it into something beautiful yet dreadful. The twisted beginning and characters were excellent—as were the two moments of realisation in this story. I loved the artwork and colouring, too.
PROTEUS VEX // DEVIOUS by Mike Carroll & Henry Flint
Some new characters and a fun aside while keeping Vex's potential return on track. I love the humour with the aliens and the battles on it all. There are some funny asides and commentary in it all.
FULL TILT BOOGIE // BOOK TWO by Alex de Campi (w) Eduardo Ocana (a) Eva De La Cruz (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
We have a way forward for this story, and I liked how it built up to this. It has been interesting to have this trip and I wonder how it will link into the main storyline.
