The action continues, and I like the pace of the story's beginning. It’s not slowing down yet. The cadet did some good quick thinking, and I had some Mulan flashbacks!

Some clever writing here, and I really enjoyed some of the dialog in this issue. I liked the escape and the consequences of this attack.

Staking the deck against Aquila, there is some army raising and good action. The look of this hell is excellent, and I’m looking forward to the next issue already as the battle lines are in place.

More about Vex, but not him himself! This was brilliant and clever. I did have to re-read in places, but it was well played out and adds a new player to the board.

A dark intro and some good setup for what we know isn;t going to be as simple as it looks. I love the feel of the calm before the storm here.
