JUDGE DREDD // REND & TEAR WITH TOOTH & CLAW by Rob Williams (w) RM Guera (a) Julia Brusco (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
It's a bittersweet ending to the story here in the cold. Special mention for the art - it has been fantastic, and I love Dredd's style. It has been an exciting story, showing that Dredd doesn’t always win it all.
INDIGO PRIME // BLACK MONDAY by Kek-W (w) Lee Carter (a) Jim Campbell (l)
Finishing off the story well and wrapping things up. This gives us an excellent point to finish the story and also look forward if need be. I like the artwork and there was a lot of fun being had with the art and the story.
AQUILA // THE RIVERS OF HADES by Gordon Rennie (w) Patrick Goddard (a) Dylan Teague (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
I loved this face-to-face. I had a sneaking suspicion that it would go this way; even so, there is potential for something in the future. The maggot's reaction at the end made me laugh out loud, which is not something you really expect from this story.
BRINK // CONSUMED by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland (l)
It was an excellent start to the investigation, and I also liked the relaxing time off. The finding of the graffiti was well done and added something for the team to look into and maybe make a start. The aside at the end adds to the threat, and the sect issues.
PROTEUS VEX // DEVIOUS by Mike Carroll (w) Jake Lynch (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)
Not too much more on the fate of Vex here, but the aspects with Midnight are excellent, and I love the style of all her work. The next issue will be gruesome!
