JUDGE DREDD // THE BAM-HUNTERS by Ken Niemand (w) Richard Elson (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
An excellent time jump, and I enjoyed the build-up to Dredd realising what has happened. The temptations of Mega-City One are amusing to watch, too. Dredd is angry now!
BRINK // CONSUMED by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland (l)
The fallout from the complaint continues and there is some excellent back and forth going on. Then there is the twist at the end that makes it worth while. A very interesting twist and I like where this is leading.
ROGUE TROOPER // SOUTHER BELLE by Geoffrey D. Wessel (w) Dan Cornwell (a) Chris Blythe (c) Jim Campbell (l)
The twist on the Belle is interesting and I look forward to seeing where this leads. It’s quite tense with the two forms of attack happening here. I like the way it played out and the issue ends.
FUTURE SHOCKS // STATION MADNESS by Honor Vincent (w) Mike Walters (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
That was a dark Future Shock and I loved how it pans out. It’s quite logical in its setup and makes you distrust what you are reading. A wry smile from me with that ending.
SILVER // THE UNEARTHED by Mike Carroll (w) Joe Currie (a) Simon Bowland (l)
A new story with a bloody beginning. I like the setup and look forward to reading more about this world. It was quite tense in places and I loved the art and colouring style.
