JUDGE DREDD // THE BAM-HUNTERS by Ken Niemand (w) Richard Elson (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Finishing off this short Dredd story it has some key beats. A gruesome death, a tease for the future and the temptations of Mega City One. A good story and some good humour too.
BRINK // CONSUMED by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Looks like we’re getting to the meat of the story here. I like the facial reactions in this issue and the degree of sarcasm. The look of realisation at the end of the issue was excellent.
ROGUE TROOPER // SOUTHER BELLE by Geoffrey D. Wessel (w) Dan Cornwell (a) Chris Blythe (c) Jim Campbell (l)
It's a bittersweet finish here, with Rogue leaving the Nort base. It’s not all sweetness, and the differing reactions were interesting for the group. I liked the action-packed escape here.
FUTURE SHOCKS // CRESCENDO by James Peaty (w) Sedat Oezgen (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A short feeling story with the black and white art being a good choice for this story. I liked the ideas behind it all, but felt it could have still been expanded on.
SILVER // THE UNEARTHED by Mike Carroll (w) Joe Currie (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Some more revelations here and some short action. There are still a lot of answers needed, but this worked well to get us closer.
