New! JUDGE DREDD // MACHINE RULE by John Wagner (w) Colin MacNeil (a) Chris Blythe (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
An interesting new story for Dredd, and you can feel him seething off the page. I like the setup, and there is something off about all of this.
BRINK // CONSUMED by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland (l)
A brilliant questioning issue. I love how the background changed and some of the looks given. An interesting statement at the end and it will be interesting to see this escalated.
New! HERNE & SHUCK // SUFFER THE CHILDREN by David Barnett (w) Lee Milmore (a) Quinton Winter (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A great re-introduction here. A quick rundown of what went before and off we go. I liked the introduction of the new character and her power. Meanwhile there is a potential spoiler on the horizon.
New! FUTURE SHOCKS // CRESCENDO by James Peaty (w) Andrea Mutti (a) Jim Campbell (l)
A classic-feeling future shock and I guessed the twist just before it was revealed. Nevertheless, I liked the story and the artwork too.
SILVER // UNEARTHED by Mike Carroll (w) Joe Currie (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Some answers here, but still a lot to take in. I liked the framing of it all and the references back in time. Combining it with some action and more to learn will be interesting. It looks like there will be some bigger issues in play in this story,.
