JUDGE DREDD // MACHINE RULE by John Wagner (w) Colin MacNeil (a) Chris Blythe (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A good ending to the story arc and it has some classic moments in it. One of which is directly referenced on the cover (this doesn’t usually happen!) I do wonder if this will leave the Judges weaker moving forward…
ROGUE TROOPER // RECON by Geoffrey D. Wessel (w) Paul Marshall (a) Pippa Bowland (c) Jim Campbell (l)
Bookending the story well, this was an interesting epilogue. I like the new point of view and wonder if this means something is coming in the future. I liked the alternate viewpoint of the action and colour scheme used.
BRINK // CONSUMED by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland (l)
It looks like we will be getting some answers. There was an interesting point about the fact that the sect crime and the serial killer may not be related…
HERNE & SHUCK // SUFFER THE CHILDREN by David Barnett (w) Lee Milmore (a) Quinton Winter (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Starting with the ending - wow! This is interesting and I wonder what the get-out would be. I liked the sarcasm in this issue (and the story as a whole) as well as the different parties being interested.
SILVER // UNEARTHED by Mike Carroll (w) Joe Currie (a) Simon Bowland (l)
The battle continues and sacrifices are made. I like how this is building up. With all the action it does feel like a slow burn, but we are getting there.
