JUDGE DREDD // HATER by Ken Niemand (w) Silvia Califano (a) Giulia Brusco (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
OK, we have an ending here, but it doesn’t look like the end! I like this, there is some good long-form storytelling here. I like the moment of realisation here as well.
THE OUT // BOOK FOUR by Dan Abnett (w) Mark Harrison (a) Simon Bowland (l)
There is some more bluffing by Syd here, and everything seems to work out well. Until the final page! Wow! That is something that I didn’t see coming at this point and it looks like there maybe further to go in Syd’s downward spiral.
NIGHTMARE NEW YORK by Kek-W (w) John Burns (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Some good action here, and I love the panelling and layouts in this issue. Things may need to calm down for us to learn more, but it doesn’t look like that will happen soon.
BRINK // CONSUMED by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland (l)
It's an interesting twist to the end that makes much sense when you look back. There will be some wrapping up to do in the next issue.
ROGUE TROOPER // WHEN A G.I. DIES by Garth Ennis (w) Patrick Goddard (a) Rob Steen (l)
We get some answers here, and although this issue was light on action, there is a lot going on. More answers to come I expect!
