JUDGE DREDD // THE COMFORT ZONE by Mike Carroll (w) Ben Willsher (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Certainly taking Dredd out of the city is a nice change. I like the introduction of the new Judge and what he is doing here. There was some good action and it leads in nicely to what the rest of the arc will be about.
THE OUT // BOOK FOUR by Dan Abnett (w) Mark Harrison (a) Simon Bowland (l)
A lot going on in this issue. With Cyd doing a new ride with some interesting aliens who look pretty intimidating. I like the commentary here and the way the ending is threatening a lot!
NIGHTMARE NEW YORK by Kek-W (w) John Burns (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Introducing some new characters here, and it looks like there are some other things happening and other priorities. I like the use of the magic and the artwork and colouring are excellent.
AZIMUTH // THE FABLED BASILISK by Dan Abnett (w) Tazio Bettin (a) Matt Soffe (c) Jim Campbell (l)
A good bisected story here, with plenty of action and something to think about. We are getting closer slowly to a resolution here, and I love the way this is working out.
ROGUE TROOPER // WHEN A G.I. DIES by Garth Ennis (w) Patrick Goddard (a) Rob Steen (l)
A great thriller/action issue here, with the two GI’s entering the Quartz Zone. I like how this builds up and the reaction of the chips. We are getting to the bottom of all of this!
