JUDGE DREDD // THE COMFORT ZONE by Mike Carroll (w) Ben Willsher (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A good adventure for Dredd, combining what is happening in the city and outside too. I like the battle and how it was settled.
THE OUT // BOOK FOUR by Dan Abnett (w) Mark Harrison (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Some excellent panel layouts that give us a better idea of the sheer scale of what we are seeing. I love the reactions to it and how mesmerising it is. This story seems a lot more gradual than the other arcs.
NIGHTMARE NEW YORK by Kek-W (w) John Burns (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A lot of violence and action here, and with that, the story circles in on itself in the way that makes a lot of sense. I am having trouble working out who to trust in this story!
AZIMUTH // THE FABLED BASILISK by Dan Abnett (w) Tazio Bettin (a) Matt Soffe (c) Jim Campbell (l)
Some excellent art and combining the action and chat between the characters. This is building up well and we will see where this door leads.
ROGUE TROOPER // WHEN A G.I. DIES by Garth Ennis (w) Patrick Goddard (a) Rob Steen (l)
Norts, Southerners, the dead and the alive. They all get some good moments in this issue, and I like where this is leading. It’s encompassing yet in a small space - very clever writing.
