A new issue of 2000 AD is out this week from Rebellion, with continuing stories across Prog 2415. Check out some of my thoughts on what is inside.

COVER: CLIFF ROBINSON WITH DYLAN TEAGUE
JUDGE DREDD // SOFT by Rob Williams & Arthur Wyatt (w) Jake Lynch (a) Matt Soffe (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
The tension is ramping up here, and the knives are out for Dredd. I like that he’s running his parallel investigations into something connected, and I’m looking forward to him getting his hands on those responsible at the top!
FIENDS OF THE WESTERN FRONT // WILDE WEST by Ian Edginton (w) Tiernen Trevallion (a) Jim Campbell (l)
This is a dark read and a look at the hunter. I like the implications behind it, and it was very well told. This new location works well for this story, and new characters are being introduced.
PORTALS & BLACK GOO // A QUORUM OF FIENDS by John Tomlinson (w) Eoin Coveney (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)
It’s an interesting issue with some undead action and politics inside. I like some of the snide comments in this; the artwork is excellent.
THE OUT // BOOK FOUR by Dan Abnett (w) Mark Harrison (a) Simon Bowland (l)
A reveal as to what is going on here with the space cruise liner. I like how it pans out and the different ways of communicating. The ramifications of this are interesting in the long term.
HAWK THE SLAYER // THE LAST OF HER KIND by Alec Worley (w) Simon Coleby (a) Gary Caldwell (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
This was a bit of a setup issue for the adventure. The quest is becoming obvious, but I think there is more to this to learn…
