New! JUDGE DREDD // SHIFT by Ken Niemand (w) Nick Percival (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
I looks like we are delving into the horror aspects of the Dredd story. This looks interesting and pretty creepy. Is it just a case of missing a person, or is there something more going on? It seems like there is more to this with the characters…
New! FULL TILT BOOGIE // BOOK THREE by Alex de Campi (w) Eduardo Ocana (a) Giulia Brusco (a) Simon Bowland (l)
I liked the clickbait introductions of the characters in this issue and we jump into a new location. It looks like not everyone can be trusted, and I like the build up to the cliffhanger of this issue.
PORTALS & BLACK GOO // A QUORUM OF FIENDS by John Tomlinson (w) Eoin Coveney (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)
The fallout from the previous issue is already happening and I think it will only inflame tensions. Meanwhile there was some campy fun with old TV and a possible look into the cause of all this.
HAWK THE SLAYER // THE LAST OF HER KIND by Alec Worley (w) Simon Coleby (a) Gary Caldwell (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
It looks like the deck is being stacked against Hawk and any potential allies are being dealt with. It also shows the depths of the delusion that is effecting those in charge.
FIENDS OF THE WESTERN FRONT // WILDE WEST by Ian Edginton (w) Tiernen Trevallion (a) Jim Campbell (l)
An interesting aside here and I like how we get to this point, the movement and storytelling here was excellent as the full threat reveals itself.
