JUDGE DREDD // THE SHIFT by Ken Niemand (w) Nick Percival (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
This dark story continues with a lot of action, and Dredd is already on the back foot. Is still think there is a connection with the teacher - she is seeing things too. I wonder how Dredd will get out of this?
FULL TILT BOOGIE // BOOK THREE by Alex de Campi (w) Eduardo Ocana (a) Giulia Brusco (a) Simon Bowland (l)
A dark look at what happens to the new recruits as the Empire plans for war! This had some big twists and I like how it played out.
PORTALS & BLACK GOO // A QUORUM OF FIENDS by John Tomlinson (w) Eoin Coveney (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)
The tension is really building - even after a psuedo-Question Time show. I love the parallels to the world we live in and how things are twisted.
HAWK THE SLAYER // THE LAST OF HER KIND by Alec Worley (w) Simon Coleby (a) Gary Caldwell (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
It looks like the action is kicking off here for Hawk. The commentary was interesting and I wonder how the answers to this will play out. Some excellent colouring and artwork here.
FIENDS OF THE WESTERN FRONT // WILDE WEST by Ian Edginton (w) Tiernen Trevallion (a) Jim Campbell (l)
Some of our travellers meet and I don’t think this is a good thing for the vampire and his companion. I like the way of this meeting though and it makes sense from the introductions we got.
