JUDGE DREDD // THE SHIFT by Ken Niemand (w) Nick Percival (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Some tough decisions to be made here, and it really ramps up the tension. I like the use of the other judges, and the reasoning (and horror) behind the origins of this block.
FULL TILT BOOGIE // BOOK THREE by Alex de Campi (w) Eduardo Ocana (a) Giulia Brusco (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Some fun action here, and a good finish. Both in terms of the one-on-one fight (which finish made me chuckle) and the larger battle ahead from the space fleet.
PORTALS & BLACK GOO // A QUORUM OF FIENDS by John Tomlinson (w) Eoin Coveney (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)
Things are getting closer and closer to the resolution. I like the different characters getting to where we need them to be, and the way this has all been set up for the final set piece!
FUTURE SHOCKS // LAST CHANCE TO SEE by Paul Goodenough (w) Luke Horsman (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
I wasn’t sure where this was going to lead - and that is what you want to see in future shocks. Taking fears from now, and twisting them with time travel and AI. An excellent read.
FIENDS OF THE WESTERN FRONT // WILDE WEST by Ian Edginton (w) Tiernen Trevallion (a) Jim Campbell (l)
The final part of this aspect of the story and it it ends with a shock! I love how this issue plays out and I had no idea this was coming. Some excellent facial expressions too!
