JUDGE DREDD // BLITZERS by Ken Niemand (w) Dan Cornwell (a) Dylan Teague (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
The beginning of a new story arc, with an interesting twist. I like the idea of this group having the dark secret that could cause problems for the judges. The addition of the stress indicator in Mega City One makes it even more tense.
CHIMPSKY’S LAW // THE TRUTH CONUNDRUM by Ken Niemand (w) PJ Holden (a) Jack Davies (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Some excellent back and forth dialog here, and I love the way it builds up to the twist at the end. The conundrum is plain to see, as are the problems in Mega City One.
SILVER // PERFIDIOUS by Mike Carroll (w) Joe Currie (a) Simon Bowland (l)
A violent return for Silver and it looks like there are more missions on the horizon. I like the pacing here and the action involved. Will we get more of Silver’s kind?
GHOSTED // BOOK ONE by Guy Adams (w) Megan Huang (a) Simon Bowland (l)
A new story, with some fantastic art here, I love the concept of the story and it looks like there is a lot to learn about what is happening.
NU-EARTH WAR TALES // NU ROMANCE by Gordon Rennie (w) Gary Welsh (a) Gary Caldwell (c) Jim Campbell (l)
In this universe of war, we are getting some stories linked to Rogue Trooper, but away enough. I like how there is a quest and it introduces some new characters.
