A new Judge Dredd story, and more continuing adventures in this week’s 2000 AD from Rebellion. Check out some of my thoughts on Prog 2431.

JUDGE DREDD // NO PLACE LIKE HOME by Dan Abnett (w) Rob Richardson (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A dark look at the problems for ‘normal’ citizens of Mega City One. It features a good cameo by Dredd, and shows he does what he can, but he is only one person. I like how this was framed, all the way to the sad ending!
ROGUE TROOPER // TIDES OF WAR by Andi Ewington (w) Paul Marshall (a) Pippa Bowland (c) Jim Campbell (l)
An action-packed issue here, with some good boat battles going on. I like the timing of it all and it shows a way forward for the crew, along with more problems teased on the way!
GHOSTED // BOOK ONE by Guy Adams (w) Megan Huang (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Things start to make sense now - although that may not be much good. I like how this pans out and the frantic style of the storytelling and the artwork. We have an early cliffhanger here, but we are getting into it all!
FUTURE SHOCKS // THE TAKEOVER by James Peaty (w) Cam Smith (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A fun Future Shock, although the ending I could see coming! I like the use of the technology and how that builds into both the story and the ending. Some fun artwork too.
SILVER // PERFIDIOUS by Mike Carroll (w) Joe Currie (a) Simon Bowland (l)
This issue continues to brutalize Silver. I like the way it builds up and the art style complements the colouring and style of it all.
