JUDGE DREDD // BAD CREDIT by Dan Abnett (w) Jake Lynch (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
An entertaining and dark story with some real black comedy in it. I love how we followed the bad credit across the city and met many citizens along the way! Dredd’s reaction is classic!
ROGUE TROOPER // TIDES OF WAR by Andi Ewington (w) Paul Marshall (a) Pippa Bowland (c) Jim Campbell (l)
A welcome stop here, and I like the build to the confrontation. Things don’t look as good as those on the boat think, but I like how this is set up. The art colouring choices are excellent, with only Rogue being the colour!
GHOSTED // BOOK ONE by Guy Adams (w) Megan Huang (a) Simon Bowland (l)
A new character has been added! And this one looks pretty scary. I like how he tracks, although the licking is a bit ick! The tension is ramping up here.
SILVER // PERFIDIOUS by Mike Carroll (w) Joe Currie (a) Simon Bowland (l)
We get some more background here on what Silver had got up to. I like the news on the other rebellions, though; it adds something global to the fightback.
New! SCARLET TRACES // EMPIRE OF BLOOD by Ian Edginton (w) D'Israeli (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
From Free Comic Book Day, this new chapter grounds us back into London, and there is something else out there in the bowels. I wonder how this will lead, but it certainly looks interesting!
